llms.txt Validator

Check an llms.txt file for a clear title, useful summary, organized sections, absolute links and duplicate URLs. Validation happens entirely in your browser.

What this validator can and cannot prove

The checker tests practical structure and link hygiene. An llms.txt file is an emerging convention, not a guarantee of crawling, indexing, citation or ranking. Keep robots.txt, sitemaps, canonical tags and useful page content correct.

llms.txt checklist

  • Use one descriptive H1 and a short plain-language site summary.
  • Group important resources under clear H2 headings.
  • Use absolute canonical URLs and concise link descriptions.
  • Prioritize durable, useful pages instead of listing every URL.
  • Keep the file synchronized with the live site structure.
