Why Preview Social Cards?
Broken OG images, truncated titles, and missing descriptions kill click-through rates on social media. Each platform renders cards differently — an image that looks perfect on Twitter might be cropped on LinkedIn or missing entirely on Discord. Preview before you share.
What This Tool Checks
- og:image dimensions: Flag images that are too small (under 200x200) or have extreme aspect ratios that platforms will crop.
- Title truncation: Show where your og:title gets cut off on each platform's card layout.
- Description length: Check if og:description fits within platform character limits.
- Missing tags: Warn when required tags like og:title, og:description, or og:image are absent.
- Twitter Card type: Verify summary vs summary_large_image and fallback behavior.
